Clay J. LeGros is a shareholder with the firm. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of New Orleans in 1979 and his Juris Doctorate from Louisiana State University, Paul M. Hebert Law Center, in 1982. Clay joined Newman Mathis in 1985. His practice focuses on consumer and commercial litigation, commercial and consumer real estate foreclosures, debt enforcement actions, consumer and commercial bankruptcy work from the creditor’s standpoint, and defending lender liability claims. Clay has lectured in the past for the National Business Institute and for Lorman Educational Services and is a popular speaker on the continuing legal education circuit.
