Joshua P. Mathews specializes in civil litigation with an emphasis on retail collections. His practice is concentrated in consumer and commercial collections, foreclosures of real estate, seizures of vehicles, and creditors rights in bankruptcy.
Josh is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, the United States District Court for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana, and all Louisiana State Courts. He is a member of the Jefferson Bar Association.
Josh obtained his law degree from Loyola University New Orleans (2006) and holds a bachelor’s degree (Business Management/Entrepreneurship 2002) from LSU. Josh was born and raised in New Orleans, graduating from Lake Castle Private School and Benjamin Franklin High School. Josh is active in Our Lady of Guadalupe International Shrine to St. Jude Catholic Church and sits on the Parish council and financial committee.
