Our representation of our clients in their estate planning, tax, real estate, creditors’ rights, and business succession planning needs necessitates expertise in general business law. As such, we act as general counsel to many businesses, starting with business entity selection and formation. We draft agreements and other documents, such as operating agreements, articles or organization, bylaws, partnership agreements, shareholder agreements, and contracts, obtain tax identification numbers, issue and prepare stock certificates, restructure businesses, negotiate, help with transactions, and litigate. Finally, when a business or business interest has reached its end, we assist in business dissolution and/or the transfer of business interests.
